Fan made airpods product commercial

This fan-made commercial for the AirPods 4 was designed to tell a story, not just sell a product.

I wanted to create a cinematic experience that communicates a message about abusive parents and finding escape through sound.

The goal was to combine technical skill with emotional storytelling in a way that stands apart from standard commercials.

The first two shots feature the actor with the sound of his parents arguing in the background, establishing tension and discomfort. As the video progresses, the build-up leads to the moment he puts in the AirPods. The iconic connect sound signals the start of noise-cancellation, and the scene transitions to the actor in a serene forest, accompanied by soft, natural forest sounds. On-screen graphics appear with phrases like “Mute the Pain”, “Noise-Cancelling”, and “AirPods 4”, concluding with the iconic Apple logo.

Filming was done on the Sony A7IV with a 24-70mm f/4 lens, recording in 4K S-Log3 10-bit 4:2:2. The project was fully edited and color-graded in DaVinci Resolve, where I refined my cinematic style and visual storytelling.

Through this project, I discovered my personal style, film-like, cinematic, and emotionally driven. This video allowed me to experiment with sound design, lighting, composition, and narrative flow to create an immersive and meaningful experience. It’s a statement piece, showing that a commercial can also be a story with emotional impact.
